Open Door in Uganda

Dear beloved:  Pics above; left, servants of the Most High God, Pastor Obanda, Jim, J.T. and Kasey Strong with Charli, Strong Point Ministry, Missionary Irene, from Norway; right, Brother Chad from Kansas with Mumias children.
I have been blessed by the presence of a team of evangelists from South Africa, they are in Mumias conducting a five day city wide crusade this week.  Pray with me that many souls will come to know the Lord Jesus as Savior.  I have also been working at the Living Water Orphanage site, we dug twenty big holes this week for more banana trees, and next Monday we will begin planting two acres of red beans.
Matthew 25:34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, "Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. v35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; v36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.  v37 and the righteous will answer Him, saying, " Lord, when.....?   v40 and the King will answer and say to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to the least of these of Mine, you also did it unto Me."
Beloved, the Lord has opened the door for me to go to Kampala, Uganda, and preach the good news to Congolese refugees.  These people have been forced from their homes and villages in East Congo the last twenty years and have sought refuge in Uganda from the death and destruction of the rebel warfare that has besieged East Congo.  At this point they are truly people without a country, many had to leave everything they owned behind.  This is an unscheduled, unbudgeted revival; I need $800 to fund for the travel for myself and two pastors with me, the flyers and advertisement, sound system, and room and board for the team.  Could I challenge eight people to give $100 each to see that the gospel is preached to these refugees?   I will be sending out reports from Kampala. The revival begins September 5 and will run for six days, and I am praying for the revival to explode and we need a bigger venue.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support.  God bless you, in Christ, Jim    Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654 501c3   Paypal@ www.gathertheoutcasts.com or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com   email: pureprairie@hotmail.com

Much to Celebrate in Butembo

Dear beloved:  Pics above, Butembo, Congo crusade;  Praying for the Governor of North Kivu State and Mayor of Butembo
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. v8 A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken! Who can but prophesy?   Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities.  For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.  v2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.
Beloved, the above photo of the Mayor and Governor being prayed for is a fulfillment of prophecy.  In 2012 I hand delivered a sealed prophetic word the Lord had given me to give to the Governor of North Kivu State of the Congo.  At that time North Kivu was wracked by violence and rebel warfare, in fact, the rebel army was on the doorstep of Goma, the capital city, ready to move in.   The word encouraged the Governor to submit himself totally to the Lord; God would then strengthen his leadership, and work through him to bring a greater measure of wisdom and eventually peace to the region.  As of this writing peace has come to North Kivu.  Businesses and homes are going up, the rebel army is dispersed, their back has been broken.  God is good, He is faithful to His promises!  Thank you so much for your prayers and support.
May God bless you as you pray.  In Christ, Jim  Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654   501(c)3  Paypal @ www.gathertheoutcasts.com  or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com    email: pureprairie@hotmail.com

Back in Kenya

Dear beloved:  Above pictures, in remote village near Oyugis, Kenya;  left, feeding the children, right, praying for the children and babies.
Thank you so much for your prayers. I am back at Mumias, Kenya, near the orphanage site where I am resting at the Shalom Hotel.  Just finished up a four day crusade and morning conference at the home village of my assistant, Sammy Bossana, in a remote mountain area of southwest Kenya.  Many strongholds of witchcraft, islam, and other pagan religions here.  It was hard plowing, rocky soil.  Even got soaked in the rain twice on boda bodas going back to my hotel from the crusade. Once slid off the muddy road into the ditch, I could write a book on the adventure!  Few salvation decisions, but many came forward for healing and deliverance from witchcraft and other bondage.
John 1:4 in Him was life, and the life was the light of men. v5 and the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
I spent the first night in the home of Sammy's parents, high up on the mountain.  Sammy told me his village considers me to be bringing light to the village, because I am the first wazunga (white man) to go up to his village and even more, to bless his parents mud house with my presence.  The light is Jesus, I am just the carrier,  we are all of the same Father,  we are all brothers and sisters walking this earth together.  Can we learn to forgive and love each other as Christ loves us?  That is God's desire.  The people were very grateful for my presence; I received live chickens, sacks of corn, an offer of my own house to stay in when I come back, much food.  I was very humbled.
Your prayers and donations made it all possible and fed the children a great feast.  May God bless you,  In Christ, Jim   Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654 501c3   Paypal @www.gathertheoutcasts.com  or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com   email: pureprairie@ hotmail.com

Sponsor a Child

Dear beloved;  These are some of the 29 children that are currently being schooled and fed at the partnering church of the LIving Water Orphanage in Kenya.  These children come to the church school each day to be taught about Jesus, play games, eat some snacks, and taught school lessons.  Some are children from very poor homes and do not have proper food or clothing.  The school also is in need of some basic items such as chairs, writing tablets and pencils, as well as food for snacks.
We are asking for sponsors to step forward and sponsor a child for $20 per month.  This will go to the needs of the child as well as needs for the school.  The money will be direct deposited to Gather the Outcasts account and sent to Kenya the first week of each month.  If you would like to look at all the children and sponsor a specific one, you can see all of them on this facebook link.  We can provide you with details on their name and age if you would like that information.  All the money will go to the children and the school, no administrative fees.  All donations will be recorded and are tax deductible, you will receive a statement at the end of the year on your giving.
Here is the link:  https://web.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=951732524718&set=pcb.951732983798&type=3&theater
Email me at pureprairie@hotmail.com if you would be interested in sponsoring a child.   We can get you details for direct deposit and be ready to go by September 1.   Thank you and God bless you,   In Christ, Jim  Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654   501c3   Paypal @www.gathertheoutcasts.com   or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com

Butembo, Congo Crusade!

Dear beloved:  Above pics, Butembo, Democratic Republic of Congo, left, full stadium, right, praying for Mayor and Governor.
Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, says the Lord. v9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts higher than your thoughts. v10 For as the rain comes down and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, v11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth, it shall not return to Me void.  But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Beloved, I was not able to get my visa to go into the Congo. I believe the Lord may have been protecting me as there has recently been a butchering of Christians by muslims in the Butembo area. My assistant Augustine from Kampala, Uganda, was there to represent me.  But the Lord blessed the crusade in amazing ways!   The people came, many were healed, many saved!  God is so good.  Your prayers and support made it all happen.  God also blessed me on Sunday as He opened the door for me to preach here in Gisenyi, Rwanda.  Among the many who came forward for prayers were a dozen people who were deaf, and when I left the church Sunday some had already received partial hearing!    I continue to rest and write here in Gisenyi, a beautiful spot on the shore of Lake Kivu. one of the great lakes of East Africa.  God is taking good care of His servant.  Will be going back to Kenya soon for a revival in the KIsii area.  Thank you for your prayers and support.

Burundi Crusade!

Dear beloved:  Above photos, Ngozi, Burundi Crusade.  Above, 1) speaking to a group of 300 youth, 2) dancing to the Lord, 3) huge crowd at the crusade, 4) one of a dozen worship teams from various churches
Psalm 22:3 Yet You are holy, O You who are enthroned upon the praises of Israel.  Psalm 99:3 Let them praise Your great and awesome Name; Holy is He.  Psalm 99:9 Exalt the Lord our God and worship at His holy hill, for holy is the Lord our God.   Yes beloved, the Lord inhabits the praises of His people!  Give the Lord the praise that He is due today and you will break the back of the enemy.
Still basking in the glow of the Burundi Crusade, but I am now in Gisenyi, Rwanda, waiting for approval of the Congolese government to cross the border into Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo.    Pray for a breakthrough today to remove all roadblocks!  I have people in place in Butembo to preach in the eventuality that I don't get there tonight in time.  The Lord has spoken to me, "It is the message that is important, not the preacher."  Thank you so much for your prayers and support.
God bless you as you pray.  In Christ, Jim  Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654  501(c)3  Paypal @www.gathertheoutcasts.com   or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com   email: pureprairie@hotmail.com

Kenya Mission Team

Dear beloved:  Here are some scenes from Kenya;  left, ready to break ground at the Living Water Orphanage near Mumias; right, prison ministry team, Augustine, Staci, Jim, Melvin, Chad, Steve, Sammy, ready to go in Bungoma prison.
James 2:14 What does it profit my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? v15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, v16 and one of you says to them, "depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? v17 Thus also faith if it does not have works, is dead.
Beloved, God's desire for us is that we put our faith into action, so that others may see what a wonderful God we serve.  The orphanage project is underway, soon we will be pouring the footings and building the structure.  The Bungoma prison team went into the prison and preached for two hours, and twenty four precious souls came forward to give their life to Jesus Christ.  Bwana a safiwe!  Praise the Lord.  Start praying about coming with us next year, Gather the Outcasts Ministry will be hosting a trip to Africa every year.  Declare now that you are going to do something extraordinary for the kingdom of God, that you are going to make a difference in the lives of Africans.
God bless you and thank you.  In Christ, Jim  Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654  501 (c)3  Paypal @ www.gathertheoutcasts.com or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com   email: pureprairie@hotmail.com

Karibu Burundi!

Dear beloved:  Pics above, the Masai Mara Wildlife Refuge in Kenya.
Isaiah 6:3 And one Seraphim said to another: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is filled with His glory!  Genesis 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind.  And God saw that it was good.  v31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Got back to Nairobi last night after two remarkable days viewing God's creation at the Masai Mara Refuge in Kenya.  Saw lions, elephants, giraffes, a cheetah, hippos, African buffalo, and millions of wildebeast and zebra.  What a collection of some of the most amazing animals all in one place, roaming about in their natural habitat.  Then I bid goodbye to the team as I put them on the plane bound for America; it was a bittersweet sendoff as I was so thankful for all they had accomplished, but very sorry to see them go.  I am now in Bujumbura, Burundi, preparing for the big crusade starting tomorrow.  We are looking for God to exceed all expections for salvations, signs, and wonders! Please keep the crusade lifted up in prayer, we will be lifting up the name of Jesus for three days, that His name will draw all men unto Him, and bring His peace to this country.  Thank you, and pray about your part in sowing into the harvest with this ministry if you have never given.
God bless you as you pray.  in Christ, Jim   Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654  501c3  Paypal @ www.gathertheoutcasts.com or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com    email: pureprairie@hotmail.com

Living Water

Dear beloved:  Above pictures, the spring running a beautiful stream at the Living Water Orpahange near Mumias, Kenya.
John 4:10  Jesus answered and said to her, " If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, give Me a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water." v13 "Whoever drinks of the water from this well will thirst again, v14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst.  The water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into eternal life."
God has blessed us so much on this piece of land that will be the home for the orphanage.  The land is fertile and will grow bountiful crops of corn and vegetables, as well as there are now over fifty fruit trees on the land; banana, mango, avocado, papaya, orange, and lemon.  We have been blessed with a never ending supply of good water, so we can water the gardens and have all we need for the house.  We are also planning to dig fish ponds below the spring to raise talapia for another source of protein for the children.
Would you pray about your part in seeing this project finished and the children playing on the site?  The children will be taught about the living water of Jesus Christ.  We will raise them up and send them out in the world with the knowledge of their Savior. Email me if you have any questions.  What you sow into the kingdom for this project will reap a harvest for all eternity.
God bless you as you pray.  in Christ, Jim   Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654  501(c)3   Paypal @www.gatthertheoutcasts.com or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com    email: pureprairire@hotmail.com

Groundbreaking!!

Dear beloved:  Great news! Yesterday was the groundbreaking for the Living Water Orphanage near Mumias, Kenya.  Pictures above, the crew getting ready to dig the ditches for the footings for the orphanage building.  This is a historic day for the kingdom of God and for Gather the Outcasts Ministry.  Many years of prayer have been answered and the orphanage is no longer a dream, but the actual construction phase has begun.  Please keep us lifted up in prayer as the provision to complete the project to the end is still yet to come, but we have enough to get started.  The team from America has been awesome, they are enjoying their time in Kenya and have been great workers.  Work is also progressing on the spring development, which will be the sole water source for the home. Pray about your part in seeing it all finished with the children moving in.
2 Chronicles 6:12 O Lord, God of Isreal, there is no God like you in heaven or earth- You who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue whole heartedley in Your way. You have kept Your promise to Your servant David my father; with Your mouth You have promised and with Your hand; You have fulfilled it-as it is today." The name of the builder/architect here in Mumias is Solomon. Yes!
When I prayed over the groundbreaking ceremony yesterday, just as I began to pray, the first raindrop hit my arm. It was confirmation from the Lord that He is with us and blessing us in all that we do.  It had not rained here in Mumias for six weeks before the Lord's servants came here this week, and now we have had showers for two days.  I will have a video of the groundbreaking ceremony and prayer in the days to come.
May God bless you as you pray.  in Christ, Jim  Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654  501(c)3  Paypal@ www.gathertheoutcasts.com  or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com  email: pureprairie@hotmail.com
