Judgment Seat of Christ

Dear beloved: pics:  Mbeya,Tanzania Crusade; Living Water Church construction, 2020

2 Corinthians 5:9 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. v10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in his body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. v11 Knowing therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.

Beloved, our time and resources we have here on the earth are very precious commodities. For those of us who are born again believers, our time will not be measured so much by months and years, though that will be chiseled onto your gravestone. Much more importantly, your time will be measured by what you do with your life for the kingdom of God. The above Scripture says we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ to make an account of what we did for the kingdom. This is not a judgment according to salvation, for that issue the condemnation has already been lifted off those who who confess Jesus as Lord and Savior.  This judgment will be according to the works that you participated in, or finished in your own body while on the earth.  The mission trips, the teaching Bible studies, the visiting of inmates in prison or sick in hospitals, the money earned and given to support the work of God all over the earth. Those are the acts that will be judged according to what you have done, good or bad. What have you done to show for your faith in God and your love for the kingdom?  Will it fill one page in a book, or a chapter, a whole book, or many books? The Bible says, "without faith it is impossible to please God." (Hebrews 11:6)  However, faith to move kingdom mountains isn't just about agreement, kingdom faith is evidenced by works.  "Faith without works is dead." (James 2:17) We invite you to partner with Gather the Outcasts as we move out in faith to build a primary school in Makunda village in Kenya. This school will be a platform for good basic education, but also an opportunity to share the gospel with children of other religions. Pray about your part and ask the Lord what you can do.  May God bless you as you pray!
