The Word Became Flesh

Dear beloved: Pics, Julia leading worship at Tarime, TZ, crusade;  Praying for the sick at the altar call

John 1:12 And as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the children of God, to those who believe in His name. v13 To those who were born not of blood, nor of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  v14. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Beloved, the times they are a changing.  People are getting hungrier for the Word of God.  The Word is what pierces people's hearts, it is sharper than any two edged sword, able to divide the soul from the spirit.  The Lord is blessing the country of Tanzania for their faithfulness in prayer and believing that He would deliver them from the agony of the corona virus.  The crusade in Tarime was very successful, we had over 400 salvation decisions, many more healings too numerous to mention.  Many people also got deliverance from witchcraft demons, the prayer warriors in the deliverance tent were busy all day long for four days.  Thank you for your prayers and support for the Tanzania mission, we are already making plans to go back for another in February.  On the local note, our Living Water Church is needing a dependable water supply, we have plans to drill a borehole (hand drill) and case the hole.  The equipment and labor costs $1,000. School fees are also coming up after January 1. Pray about your part in helping us.  All donations to Gather the Outcasts Ministry are tax deductible, pray about supporting us in your year end giving.  May God bless you as you pray!

Celebrating Ten Years

Dear beloved: pics, Ngozi, Burundi Crusade 2015; children at Living Water Children's Home

Revelation 22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. v2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Beloved, In September, Gather the Outcasts celebrated a milestone of ten years of preaching the gospel in Africa. It all began with a short term mission to preach in Kibera, the biggest slum in Africa, in central Nairobi.  Then again in 2011, a five day crusade in the Kamakunji grounds in Kibera, where 700 people accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior!  When I went out on the platform to preach in the Kibera Crusade, I carried with me a white bag filled with big ears of white maize; the front of the bag had written on it in large, black letters, "Revelation 22".  That was the scripture the Lord gave me in a dream when He showed me He was opening the door for me to preach in Africa.  Revelation 22, a new heaven and a new earth.  Although there have been many trials and suffering over the years, the joy of serving the Lord in Africa has surpassed all the struggles.  The Lord has been with me to strengthen and guide me, for that I am very grateful.  Thank you to all who have prayed for and supported this ministry, and for those who would like to see even greater harvests in the days ahead, you are welcome to partner with us.  May God bless you as you pray!

Three Thousand Souls

Dear beloved:  Pics, baptisms at the Living Water Church, Kenya

Acts 2:41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized, and that day about three thousand were added to them.  v42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and prayers. v43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.

Beloved, we are overjoyed at the response of the people in Makunda village, we are seeing many coming to the Lord Jesus.  Last week another 13 baptisms, the angels in heaven are rejoicing along with us.  The Living Water Church is a fulfillment of a prophecy spoken twenty years ago over the piece of land where the church now sits. God's word does not return to Him void!  The video of the Children's Home and Living Water church is now on youtube, clik on this link to see the video, you will enjoy it.

Feast of Tabernacles

Dear beloved;  Pics, crusades in Tanzania, Mbeya, and Mwanza district, in the last year

Leviticus 23:34  Speak to the children of Israel saying, "The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to the Lord.    John 1:14  And the Word became flesh and dwelt (tabernacled) among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Beloved, we are in the time of Feast of Tabernacles, this is the time when Jesus will return, and we will behold His glory again.  Are you ready for His return?  This is the time the Israelites were made to dwell in booths, as a reminder that the Lord took care of them for forty years in the wilderness, where they dwelt in booths and drank from the Rock.  He is our keeper and our ever present help in times of trouble.  Here in Kenya we are still locked out of crusades, but to me that means the harvest will be even greater when things get back going again.  Pray we can get back on the crusade trail soon.  We invite you to partner with Gather the Outcasts here in Africa, where we are ministering to the lost in Makunda at our new church, as well as providing a good home now for 20 orphan children. Thank you so much for your prayers and support, God bless you as you pray.

The Gospel

Dear beloved:  pics, children spreading compost on the kitchen garden

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. v17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."  v18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, v19 because what may be known of God is evident among them, for God has shown it to them.

Beloved, we are striving to develop the children so they are well prepared to take care of themselves in every way.  Besides their spiritual walk with the Lord, and their education, we are also teaching them lifeskills that will benefit them.  They enjoy working in the kitchen garden and enjoying the fruits of their labor.  I have learned that when they are given a simple task, they love to work together to get it done.  I believe this is a God given trait and a deep desire of man, to be able to work together to accomplish tasks that benefit their life.  Could it be in our modern societies we have trained people away from the joy of work?  Things are going well here in Kenya, corona virus is on the way out, fewer and fewer new cases reported each day.  The prayers of the saints have been answered.  We invite you to partner with Gather the Outcasts ministry as we support the children at Living Water home.  We are still looking for monthly supporters for their upkeep.  In addition, we have needs for more Bibles, a case is $60.  We also need a solar panel at $200, and a couple of bicycles at $100 each.  Pray about your part in molding the future of Kenya children!

I Am the Resurrection

Dear beloved:  pics, crusades in Mwanza, TZ; right, crusade in Mbeya, TZ, one year ago.

John 11:25  Jesus said to Martha, " I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he will live. v26 And whoever lives and  believes in Me shall live, and never die. Do you believe this?"  v27 She said to Him, "Yes Lord, I believe that You ar the Christ, the Son of God, who has come into the world."

Beloved, the confession of Martha is the sweet confession that Jesus and all His children long to hear.  We are longing for the masses to come to know the Lord as was revealed to the babes at the crusades in Tanzania a year ago.  We will be back soon, with renewed energy and vigor!  Social distancing will be replaced by speed of the Holy Spirit distancing.  The plans of the enemy to stall the kingdom of God will come to nothing.  The Lord can restore times and seasons, and all that the enemy has stolen.  The harvest coming will be greater than ever before!  Thank you for your prayers and support for Gather the Outcasts Ministry.  We have many opportunities for you to join us if you are seeking ways to move the kingdom forward in Africa.  We have purchased sound equipment for the new church that was $500, an unexpected expense   Also we are asking the Lord for Bibles for the new believers, English or Swahili versions, a box of 10 for $60.  We also have sponsorships for the children at Living Water Children's Home, $100 per month for full sponsorship, $50 per month for half.  Let God arise and His enemies be scattered!  God bless you as you pray.

Powers and Principalities

Dear beloved:  pics, Centrine, a grade 8 young lady at Living Water Home; crew planting groundnuts
Daniel 10:10 Suddenly a hand touched me, which made me tremble on my knees and on the palms of my hands. v11 And he said to me, "O Daniel, man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you."  While he was speaking this word to me, I stood trembling. v12  Then he said to me, " Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words."
Beloved, the saints of the Most High God are in a battle with the powers and principalities over the nations.  These battles are not easily won; the enemy does not give up territory easily, especially when they have held that territory for years and generations.  The battle is not for the faint.  Now is the time to intensify prayer.  But know this, that from the first day you set yourself to speak to God and battle for His kingdom, your prayers will be heard. "If My people who are called by My name, will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land."  At Living Water Children's Home we are battling for the future of Kenya by raising up strong Christian children of God.  Pictured above is Centrine, a grade 8 student at the home.  She is a total orphan, but she loves Jesus and is smiling all the time.  She wants to be a teacher when she finishes her education.  We invite you to partner with Gather the Outcasts as we mold the leaders of tomorrow in Kenya.  You can become a monthly partner and contribute to Centrine's success by providing for her food, shelter, and education.  Pray about your part in changing the destiny of the nations.  May God bless you as you pray!

the Human Heart

Dear beloved:  Pics, neighborhood children at Makunda; green vegetables for the orphan children at Living Water
Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?  v10 I the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah 12:5 If you have run with the footmen and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with horses?
Beloved, we are now half way through the year 2020, it seems this year we have been running with the footmen. Without your feet planted firmly on the rock, it is very easy to get weary and disoriented. Soon enough we will be contending with horses, so set your eyes on Jesus.  Bring your focus back to Him and He will lead you though.  In spite of all the shakings, this has been a very productive year for Gather the Outcasts.  We have opened the children's home and are really enjoying the presence of the children there.  They are in our school five days a week, then Saturday is a work day for them to help out around the farm.  Sunday is their day to worship the Lord.  Speaking of that, tomorrow will be our first church service in the new church, and our first service in four months! We are looking forward to a great day together with the Lord.  Corona protocols are still in place, but we can have a gathering with up to one hundred people. We thank the Lord for all the prayers and support to get the church building up and finished.  When the travel restrictions are lifted, plan to come to Kenya to encourage and share with the good people here in Kenya.  Karibu, we welcome you.  Pray about your partnership with Gather the Outcasts Ministry as we take the good news of the gospel to people all over East Africa.  May God bless you as you pray!

Forgiveness

Dear beloved:  Pics, Bryan, one of our special needs children at Living Water; Front entrance to children's home
Mark 11:25 "And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive your trespasses. v26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses."  Matthew 18:21 Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him, up to seven times?  v22 Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."
Beloved, if we are to learn to love each other, we are going to have to learn to forgive each other. If you have anything against anyone,....but Lord!  Yes, this commandment goes deep into our hearts.  We like to justify our rage, our anger, our vengeance. The Lord says, "Let go, vengeance is mine, judgment is mine."  At Living Water Children's home, we are teaching the children to love and forgive.  These children have been rejected and abandoned, it will be very easy for them to grow up bitter and and pity themselves. We are teaching them to be conquerors, by the name of Jesus and in His power.  If you would like to help support these children, we have a sponsorship program set up to insure their basic needs are met. These needs include food, clothing, medical supplies, and staff for their care.  Pray about your part in helping these children attain the destiny God has for them. Email me for details.  May God bless you as you pray!

God is Love

Dear beloved:  Pics, Paul working on the chicken house; children learning at Living Water Children's centre
1 John 4:9  In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. v11 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. v11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Beloved, can we learn to love one another?  This is a command from the Lord, that we love the Lord with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, and that we love our neighbor as we love ourself.  This is not an easy command to follow, even the first family had to deal with murder when Cain rose up and killed Abel. But when we focus on the cross and the love that Jesus has for every person in the world, we have faith that by the supernatural love of God within us, we can learn to love each other.  One of the ways to show that love is to reach out and care for those less fortunate than yourself. At Living Water Children's Home, we are providing a place of refuge for those children who have been rejected, abandoned, or their close family members have died.  It is a joy to see their faces shine as they talk about going back to school, and the good food they are receiving.  Would you join us in taking care of the precious children?  Your partnership supplies food, clothing, medical needs, and school fees, as well as the staff needed to house and care for them. Contact me for more information on sponsoring a child.  May God bless you as you pray!

Be Merciful Unto Us

Dear beloved:  Pics, Living Water Children; children having lunch on the veranda
Psalm 57:1 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me! For my soul trusts in You; and in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, Until these calamities have passed by. v2 I will cry out to the God Most High, to God who performs all things for me. v He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up.  v7 My heart is steadfast (fixed), O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise.
Beloved, keep singing praises to the Lord until these calamities be passed.  The Lord is giving us a foreshadowing of the future. In order to participate in the economy, you must have the mask!  Cry out to the Lord, take refuge in His word and in the shadow of His wings.  This week has been an eventful week at Living Water Children's home.  We jumped from four to twelve children. If your heart ever desired to care for poor children in Africa, now is your opportunity.   Their stories are heart wrenching, some beyond belief.  One young girl was kidnapped on her way to school, taken to a large city and held captive.  She was eventually released and made her way to a police station, and from there given over to child protection services.  That is how we ended up with her.  Your partnership helps us care for these children with food, clothing, school fees, and medical care.  When you give to the poor, the Lord pays you back!  Pray about your partnership with Gather the Outcasts Ministry.  May God bless you as you pray.

Are We in End Times?

Dear beloved: pics, road to Living Water Children's Home; abandoned small trader's market due to corona crackdown in Mumias
Matthew 24:6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, see that you are not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. v7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. v8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. v9 Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.
Beloved, we have had our challenges this week.  The main bridge at Mayoni over River Nzoia tried to wash out, causing us to detour over an hour each way to get to the children's home.  We prayed for the Lord to send angels to hold the bridge from complete washout, so far it is holding and the hole has been filled.  Then our Makunda road to the Children's home has turned to a quagmire, forcing another detour of many miles to get to the home.  This is Africa!  Are we in the end times?  We have famine now from locusts and corona lockdown, pestilence from the virus, and now over 100,000 people in the west highlands have been displaced by floods and mudslides.  Many have lost their homes, which are made of mud, and all their belongings. No earthquakes as of yet, but they are coming.  Jesus said, "This is just the beginning of the birth pangs and sorrows. See to it that you are not troubled."  We invite you to partner with Gather the Outcasts as we share the peace given by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May God bless you as you pray!

My Times Are in Your Hand

Dear beloved: Pics, Entry gate at Living Water Children's Home; roof is on the new church
Psalm 31:14 But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord; I say, "You are my God." v15 My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.  v16 Make Your face shine upon Your servant; Save me for Your mercies sake. v17 Do not let me be ashamed, O Lord, for I have called upon You; Let the wicked be ashamed; Let them be silent in the grave.
Beloved, we are living in unprecedented times.  The Lord is preparing all the people of the earth for a great awakening, a time of bountiful harvest.   Position yourself and watch the Lord work!  The times(our destinies, souls) are in His hands He is in control.  When the Lord told me to go back to Mumias to wait upon Him, he dropped two projects into the ministry with no striving. The opening of the Living Water Children's Home came to pass, and the construction of the new church moved forward with haste.  We will be ready to gather in the new church as soon as the corona virus restrictions are lifted.  I believe the turnaround for public gathering will come quickly; the virus has been crushed.  Those who wait upon the Lord and His timing, shall renew their strength, they  will mount up with wings of eagles. Pray about partnering with Gather the Outcasts Ministry here in Kenya.  We have many needs at both the Children's Home and the new church.  May God bless you as you pray!

Praise Defeats the Enemy

Dear beloved: pics, Orphan children at Living Water,  Living Water Church, trusses and roof going up
2 Chronicles 20:20 So they rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, 'Hear me, O Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe in His prophets and you shall prosper." v21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: "Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever."
Beloved, the Lord answered prayers this week as we now have the first four orphan children in our care at Living Water Children's Home. This was a sudden blessing from the Lord that was an answer to prayer going back several years.  There are more children to come. Living Water home will be their home for now and into the future unless some family members can be traced and they can be united with them. We are having to up our game in all aspects to take care of the needs of these children, and prepare for more.  Meanwhile, progress on the new church continues.  This week we built and raised up the trusses, we are ready now to put on the sheet iron and finishing touches such as doors and windows.  When the corona restrictions are lifted, we will be ready to praise the Lord in the beauty of holiness as a body of believers.  "Praise the Lord, for His mercy endures forever!"  Pray about your part in partnering with Gather the Outcasts in Kenya.  Maybe the Lord would have you become a monthly sponsor of one of these orphan children.  God bless you as you pray!

Keep Building

Dear beloved:  Pics,  pouring the concrete floor at Living Water Church; ready mix at the job
Nehemiah 4:13  Therefore I positioned men behind the lower parts of the wall, at the openings; and I set the people according to their families, with their swords, their spears, and their bows. v14 And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people, "Do not be afraid of them.  Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses". v15 And it happened, when our enemies heard that it was known to us, and that God brought their plot to nothing, that all of us returned to the wall, everyone to his work.
Dear beloved, it has been refreshing to get out in the fresh air and work every day as we move forward in the construction of Living Water Church.  We have faced opposition and many distractions, virus invasion and curfews. But the people have a heart to work.  This week we mixed concrete by hand from morning till night for three days, now the floor is finished and curing. I didn't know it was possible to hand mix that much concrete!  This church will be a testimony to the power of God as we reach out to the lost in Makunda village.  Next week we will be building trusses and putting the sheet iron on the roof.  When I was in Nairobi at the start of the corona virus invasion, I had a ticket to fly out to the USA.  The Holy Spirit told me to go back to Mumias, this would be the safest and most productive place to be through the duration of the virus pandemic.  Once again, the Lord has given me good direction.  We invite you to partner with Gather the Outcasts as we reach the lost in Kenya and East Africa. Pray about your part in seeing the good plans of the Lord come to pass.  May God bless you as you pray!

Mwanza Crusade

Dear beloved:  Pics, left, Daniel and Julia firing up the worship; Church choirs sang for two hours on Sunday
Genesis 1:26  And God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. v27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.
Beloved, it is a joy to minister in places like remote Tanzania, where people still have the childlike faith untainted by the modern world.  We had a successful crusade in Buserere, in Mwanza district on the south shore of Lake Victoria.  We had over 200 salvation decisions, plus many thousand who came forward for prayers for healing and deliverance. All this in a place where Islam is the dominant religion  Many were delivered from the curses of witchcraft; in fact they did not run away from the Lord, they ran to Him.  Many children also came forward to make salvation decisions.  One of the worship leaders, brother Daniel from Mwanza, had two boys about eight years old, who danced and led worship with him.  They danced like David danced, a sight to behold!  All the children in the crowd loved to watch them. The gospel is still the good news, people in Tanzania are hungry for the bread of life!  We invite you to partner with Gather the Outcasts as we take the gospel to the nations of Africa.  Thank you so much for your prayers and support!

In the Secret Place

Dear beloved:   pics, children at Living Water Children Center; praying around perimeter of new church site before construction
Psalm 91:1  He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in the shadow of the Almighty. v2 I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." v3  Surely, He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.  v4 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. v5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day. v6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
Beloved, God is putting on the pause button for all mankind across the earth.  It is time to pray and ask the Lord to deliver us from the perilous pestilence. In God we place our trust.  Do not let fear reign in your heart.  No fear of the corona virus, no fear of the economic setbacks that may come as a result.  Give praise to Him, for He is in control, so cry out to Him!  The faith to move mountains will also move this virus mountain into the sea.  We can work to develop vaccines, we can wash hands and isolate, but in the end it is prayer that will triumph. Here in Kenya, we are keeping busy working on the construction of a new church building near our Living Water compound.  We thank God for the provision to start the work and keep people busy.  Pray about your part in partnering with Gather the Outcasts Ministry as we complete the work of the building as God has appointed us to do.  We want this church to shine all over Makunda village, so many will come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!

Walk in the Spirit

Dear beloved:  Pics above, upcoming crusade in Mwanza, Tanzania Feb 27- Mar. 1;  Redi mix concrete at Living Water
Galatians 5:16  But I say, Walk in the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh. for they are contrary (war against) each other, to keep you from doing the things that you want to do. v18  But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Beloved, we are teaching at the church and the midweek fellowship about walking in the Spirit.  How to live a Spirit filled life and have your walk line up with your talk. Walking in the Spirit involves three disciplines; 1. Everyday communication with God through prayer, 2. Everyday hear from God through reading of His word, 3. Consistent fellowship with other believers in the body of Christ. Just as in America, many Kenyans are too busy for the three disciplines.  They are given to the 24/7 pursuit of trying to make ends meet. We are praying for a new generation of leaders here who will answer the call of God in their life, and they will become model Kingdom as well as Kenyan citizens.  We invite you to partner with Gather the Outcasts as we take the good news of the gospel to the nations!  Next up, Mwanza, Tanzania, where we have a pastor's association on the ground working to get everything in place for a great crusade.  Keep the crusade and safe travel for my team lifted up in your prayers.  May God bless you as you pray!

Jesus is Coming

Dear beloved;  pics, Poster for upcoming Mwanza, Tanzania Crusade; baptisms at Living Water church
1 Thessalonians 5:2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. v3 For when they say, "Peace and safety!", then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
Beloved, when thieves try to enter your house or your compound, they don't call ahead and let you know when they are planning to come.  They take advantage of the weaknesses in your security, then show up at a time you least expect.  So it is when Jesus comes back to gather up the saints.  Many people are comfortable calling themselves a Christian, but they have little zeal for the Christian walk.  They don't want any part of sacrifice, persecution, or spiritual warfare.  If you love the Lord Jesus, you will deny yourself, pick up your cross and carry it daily!  After a million mosquito bites and day and night warfare, it is easy to say, its not worth the cost.  But Jesus gave it all, all to Him we owe.  Tanzania here we come, back to the fertile harvest fields for another great crusade.  Pray with us and support us as we go where the Spirit leads to bring in the Lord's harvest.  May God bless you as you pray!

Signs From Heaven

Dear beloved:  pics, locust swarms invade Kenya; squash and cucumbers at Living Water Farm
Exodus 10:4 Or else, if you refuse to let My people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your territory. v5 And they shall cover the face of the earth, so that no one will be able to see the earth; and they will eat the residue of what is left, which remains to you from the hail, and they shall eat every tree that grows up to you out of the field. v14 And the locusts went up over the land of Egypt and rested on all the territory of Egypt. They were very severe; previously there had been no such locusts as they, nor shall there be such after them.
Beloved, two of the plagues of Egypt descended upon Kenya last week.  Two giant hail stones fell on Kinangop in Nyandurua County, and they were so large the residents called them "ice blocks from heaven".  Each block was four feet in diameter and weighed hundreds of pounds.  That incident was followed by a locust invasion in several counties of Northeast Kenya, where millions of locusts have started to devour vegetation. In Mandera county alone, 12,000 square kilometers of land have been infested in about one week.  Just as the Lord was sending signs to Pharaoh so that he would let the children of Israel go, the Lord is also sending signs to Kenya to seek the Lord and turn from our wicked ways.  Join me in praying for Kenya, that we cry out to the Lord, repent of our sins, and ask the Lord to heal our land. In a recent dream last year, the Lord showed me famine may be on the horizon for Kenya, and I believe this locust invasion may be a confirmation of that.  Pray with me that it does not come to pass, that the Lord will protect His children here.  Thank you for your prayers and support, may God bless you as you pray!

Meditate on the Book

Dear beloved: pics, giving out chapatis to street boys with Zephania; downtown Mumias, Friday market day
Joshua 1:8  The Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. v9 Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and of good courage, do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Beloved, when you meditate on the Book, the Holy Spirit will lead you into places you may may never have thought of going.  That is when you need to be strong and of good courage, so that you can step forward with boldness and take territory for the kingdom of God.  God has expanded our territory in Makunda village for His kingdom, we just recently purchased a piece of property to build a much larger church.  The place we are meeting in the children's home is much too small for our growing congregation.  We will be starting construction within a month or so, if you would like to make a donation for the new church, designate as you give.  The budget for the new Living Water Church is $10,000.  Thank you for your prayers and support.  May God bless you as you pray!
