Let Faith Triumph

Dear beloved:  Pictures above: Left, house fellowship near Kilifi, Kenya; right, boy delivered from insanity.

Matthew 16:21 From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed and raised up on the third day. v22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!"  v23 But Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." v24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me."

Beloved, for many of you the Holy Spirit is tugging on your heart to go to Africa with Gather the Outcasts Ministry, but your friends and family have spoken fear over you and you pulled back.  Fear of the unknown, of terrorists, mosquitoes, strange food.  Fear that God can't supply the funds needed.  Now is the time to exercise your faith and put your mind on the things of God.  Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.  Email me for a complete trip itinerary.

The Passover Lamb

Dear beloved:  Pictures: Left, crusade in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo, beautiful volcanic Mt. Nyiragongo in the background; right, Makarubi Choir of Goma.

Beloved, "Chag Sumeah!. The joyous festival of Passover began last night on the Hebrew calendar. Exodus 12:5 " Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats. v6 Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight. v7 And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. v12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment; I am the Lord. v13 Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.  v31 Then he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, "Rise, go out from among my people, both you and the children of Israel. And go serve the Lord as you have said."

Beloved, the precious blood of Jesus has set us free from the judgment and the bondage of the gods of Egypt. We are to go and serve the Lord as we have said.  Would you go and serve Jesus and the children of Africa on a short term mission trip, to help with building them a nice home in Kenya?  Or how about sending the team with a generous donation if you are unable to go?  Or how about serving by underwriting one of the crusades planned in Congo, Burundi, or Kenya.?  It was for freedom that Christ set us free, therefore, do not take up that yoke of bondage again!  Email me for trip itinerary.

My Great Reward

Dear beloved:  Pictures above: left, Malaba, Kenya Crusade 2013; Ngozi, Burundi Crusade 2015
In 1 Corinthians 9:16, the Apostle Paul states, "for if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! v17 for if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a stewardship. v18 What is my reward then? That when I preach the gospel, I may present the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel. v19 For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more."
Beloved, I have presented the gospel to many in Africa without charge, so they may be won over to the kingdom of God and know personally Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This is my call and my destiny that has been laid upon me, not by man but by the Lord. It is traditional for those who conduct crusades in Africa to pay for all the expenses, for how can we expect those who may not know where their next meal is coming from to pick up the expenses?
1 Corinthians 9:7 Whoever goes to war at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Or who tends a flock and does not drink of the milk of the flock?  Beloved, the Lord has opened up the door for me to preach crusades in Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Kenya this summer, to bring the message of hope to thousands. This is His vision.  Would you partner with me to send me into battle? I have set a budget of $25,000 to accomplish this mission.
May God bless you as you pray.  In Christ, Jim   Gather the Outcasts Inc., Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654  501(c)3   Paypal at www.gathertheoutcasts.com  or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com   email: pureprairie@hotmail.com

The Hundredfold Blessing

Dear beloved:  Two scenes from the tree planting crews at the Living Water Orphanage near Mumias, Kenya.
Mark 10:29 So Jesus anwered and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields, for My sake and the gospel's, v30 who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time-houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions-and in the age to come, eternal life. v31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first."  Beloved, the greatest blessings on the earth come when we submit to serving others, leaving those things and people that we are attached to and go to serve for the gospel's sake. This is how we recieve our crowns, the hundredfold blessing in this life and in the age to come.
Would you consider going to Kenya for a two week mission to help out at the Living Water Orphanage, where we will be building a home for fifty orphan children?  You do not need construction skills or to be in great condition, just a willing heart to go.  That is what Jesus is looking for, that you go from the head of the line of your own desires, and join the line to serve the less fortunate. Maybe if you can't go, you would consider supporting the project or sending the team with your financial support.
2 Corinthians 9:10 "Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness."  May God bless you as you pray.  In Christ, Jim  Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654  501(c)3   Paypal at www.gathertheoutcasts.com  or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com   email: pureprairie@hotmail.com

Will He Find Faith on the Earth?

Dear beloved:  Above Pics,  left, child worshiping at the Burundi Crusade; right, little Elijah from Tororo, Uganda
Luke 18:8 Jesus says regarding those who cry out to Him day and night, " I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"  Beloved, if Jesus were to come back today, would He find evidence of faith on display in your life? Are you doing things with your finances, with your time and talents, that show that you have faith in God and want to see His kingdom move forward on the earth?
Gather the Outcasts Ministry has crusades planned all over East Africa to preach the life saving gospel to the lost.  Would you partner with the ministry to see that many are ushered into the kingdom?  Would you partner with the ministry to see that a nice home gets built for fifty orphan children in West Kenya?  Would you partner with the ministry to go to Africa yourself on a two week mission trip, to lend your hand to the work of caring for the poor and homeless? We are leaving July 6.
James 2:14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? v15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, v16 and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? v17 Thus also faith by itself, it is does not have works, is dead.
By works your faith will be made perfect!  May God bless you as you pray, in Christ, Jim   Gather the Outcasts, Inc., Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654  501(c)3   Paypal @ www. gathertheoutcasts.com  or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com                        email: pureprairie@hotmail.com
