Faith Triumphs Over Fear

Dear beloved:  Pictures above, Kibera Crusade in Nairobi in 2011.  800 people came to know the Lord Jesus during the crusade.
I will be taking a team with me this July to work on the Living Water Orphanage in west Kenya.  We will be working with the children in Bible school, working on the church building, and working at the orpanage site.  We will finish up the two week trip with a tour of the Masai Mara Wildlife Refuge to see the big animals.  Would you commit to going along, or writing out a check so we can get the work completed this summer?   Please email me for the itinerary.
When Golaith came out and started mocking the armies of Israel, the people of Israel were in great fear. 1 Samuel 17:24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw Goliath, fled from him and were dreadfully afraid.  But David, the young shepherd boy, didn't let fear control him.  Instead he exercised his faith and put his trust in the Lord.  v37 Moreover David said, "The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine."  And Saul said to David, " Go, and the Lord be with you!"
The Lord is speaking to some of you to go, but you are filled with fear.  Let your faith arise, let it triumph over fear. Your faith is perfected by your works.  May God bless you as you pray.  In Christ, Jim  Gather the Outcasts, Inc. Feed the Hungry

Dear beloved:  Pictures above: the maize harvest on the Living Water Orphanage Land in Kenya.  Left are the church members harvesting corn and gathering up the stalks; right, you can see the many brown and moldy ears of corn from all the El Nino rains. The harvest this year was less than 50% of normal, so it is going to be a year of lack for many of the children and their families in West Kenya. These families depend on maize for much of their food supply for themselves and the livestock.  They eat ugali, a boiled corn meal dish similar to our corn meal mush, twice a day with greens and beans or meat if they have it.  They also feed their chickens cracked maize, so it is a staple of all the rural people. Because of the poor harvest, many of the farmers in the Mumias area do not have the money for seed and fertilizer to plant the spring crop, so that will affect the summer food supply as well.
Would you consider supporting a child for $30 per month so they will not be hungry when they go to bed?  Please pray about it and see what the Lord would have you to do.  We can arrange for monthly deposit to Gather the Outcasts, or you can Paypal or send checks. I would like to see the support level take care of at least fifty children. Beloved, in America we don't know about hunger and lack.  For the cost of a couple of pizzas you can feed one child for a month.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support.  May God bless you as you pray.  In Christ, Jim   Gather the Outcasts, Inc.,  Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654  501(c)3   Paypal at www.gathertheoutcasts.com      or    www.jimrowh.blogspot.com                        email: pureprairie@hotmail.com    forward to friends by link below

Receiving the Children

Dear beloved:  Pics above:  Left, young boys hungry for the word at Ngozi, Burundi Crusade; right, young man at Mumias, Kenya Crusade delivered from insanity.    Mark 10:13  And they brought young children to Jesus, that He should touch them; and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. v14 But when He saw it, He was much displeased and said unto them, "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. v15 Verily I say unto you, whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter in."  And He took them up in His arms, put His hands upon them, and blessed them.   Mark 9:36  And He took a child, and set him in the midst of them; and when he had taken him in His arms, He said unto them, v37 "Whoever shall receive one of these children in My name, receives Me; and whoever shall receive Me, receives not Me, but Him who sent Me."

Beloved, we have an opportunity to receive fifty young children in the name of Jesus into a home that we are going to build for them near Mumias, Kenya.  The land is purchased, fenced, and trees are planted. There is a spring of living water on the place, now we are waiting for the big loaf of provision to build the home and get the children moved in.  We need about $50,000 to complete the project.  Would you let the Lord speak to you about helping to receive the children?  I will also be taking a team with me in July to work on the project.  Would you be interested in going and taking the children into your arms in the name of Jesus?

Thank you so much for your prayers and support.  May God bless you as you pray.       In Christ, Jim  Gather the Outcasts, Box 92  Norton, Ks. 67654  501 (c)3   Paypal at www.gathertheoutcasts.com  or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com    email: pureprairie@hotmail.com   Forward to friends by link below
