Joshua 1:7 "Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. v8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.  For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. v9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord is with you wherever you go."

Beloved, Joshua begins to sound like a football coach as he encourages the team preparing for the second half comeback.  But Joshua is preparing the children of Israel for something of much greater significance, to go into the promised land and claim their inheritance after sojourning forty long years in the desert. Now Moses is dead, and the responsibility to lead two million people falls on the shoulders of Joshua. Four times in Chapter 1, Joshua exhorts with the words, "Be strong and courageous."  Joshua knew of the giants in the land, for he and Caleb had seen them when they spied out the land many years before. The other ten spies cowered in fear, "We are like grasshoppers in their sight"; but Joshua and Caleb said, "it is a good land and the Lord will be with us."  Noted also, twice Joshua says that if they stay close to the Law, and the Book of the Law, that they will prosper wherever they go.  As we cross into 2026, may you also be strong and courageous to take the land of promises the Lord has for your life.  Every blessing the blood of Jesus made available for you, may you receive it this year!  We invite you to partner with Gather the Outcasts Ministry as we take the message of hope to the nations of Africa.  We appreciate your prayers and support.  We need more monthly partners as well as single generous gifts.  Even $50 per month will accomplish a lot in Africa.
