Fulfill All Righteousness

Matthew 3:13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him v14 and John tried to prevent Hm saying, " I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?" v15  But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him.
Stevo, the former street boy, had resisted baptism for two months.  When we talked to him about being obedient to Jesus, we told him that Jesus Himself was baptized.  Jesus submitted to baptism to fulfill all righteousness, to be in right standing with God, and to prepare Him for obedience to go to the cross.  Some of the street boys Stevo lived with told him it wasn't necessary, but after praying about it for a couple weeks, he submitted.  The angels in heaven are now rejoicing!  We invite you to partner with Gather the Outcasts Ministry as we take the gospel to the nations of Africa, as we preach, baptize, and teach all that He has commanded us. Street Children

Mark 1:23 Now there was a man in the synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, v24 saying, "Let us alone! What have we to do with you Jesus of Nazareth? Did you come to destroy us? I know who You are, the Holy One of God! v25 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet and come out of him!" v26 And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him.
Beloved, one of the new converts at the church is a twenty year old, former street boy named Stevo.  He has a heart to worship, even to write songs on the fly in the Spirit. His mind is a bit full of confusion due to the years of sniffing glue and eating garbage, but he is making progress in the kingdom.  We even introduced him to hard work this week, he helped dig the ground preparing for planting maize.  He needs your prayer that his body and mind can be restored and healed, and that he can become a productive soldier in the Lord's army. I also pray that his gift of singing and leading worship will bloom in the days ahead.  We are finishing up final details preparing for children at the Living Water Children's Home, making tables, cabinets, and shelving. Blood of the Innocents

Jeremiah 10:4 " Because they have forsaken Me and made this an alien place, because they have burned incense in it to other gods whom neither they, their fathers, or the kings of Judah have known, and have filled this place with the blood of the innocents v5 they have also built the high places of Baal to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings to Baal, which I did not command nor did it ever come into my mind."
Beloved, we praise the Lord Jesus that in Kenya abortion is illegal.  There are groups that are advocating for abortion here, but I have steadfastly preached in dozens of churches in East Africa that God blesses the nations that stand up for the rights of the unborn; that every single child, born and unborn, is created in the image of God. Isn't it amazing that in Africa where people are sometimes surviving on two dollars a day, they fight to keep their children and provide for them the best they can.  Partner with Gather the Outcasts as we boost children and preach the life giving message of the gospel.  Our mission here is about life!  Jesus said, "I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly."  Our Living Water Children's Home registration is moving forward, we will soon have children.  Pray also for the Butere, Kenya Crusade, coming in mid February to Manyala village. Rich Young Ruler

Matthew 19:16  Now behold, one came and said to Him, " Good teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?" v17 so He said to him, " Why do you call me good? No one is good but One, that is God. But if you want to enter into eternal life, keep the commandments." v18 He said to Him, "Which ones?" Jesus said, "You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not bear false witness.  v19 Honor your father and mother, and, you shall love your neighbor as yourself." v20 The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?" v21 Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."  v22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
Beloved, can Jesus really be serious that He wants us to sell all our possessions and follow Him?  For those of us from wealthy nations such as the USA, we can certainly identify with the rich young ruler, for we too, have great possessions. And sometimes our possessions control us, to the point we are robbed of the joy that we thought we would have if we owned them. Most people in Africa don't have the luxury of many possessions.  They live and fight for today. They have different burdens, such as finding money for food, clothing, or school fees.  Gather the Outcasts is trying to make a difference in the lives of people in Africa.  We share the love and joy that Jesus has for them, that their own joy will be complete.  They can have the mind of Christ to make good decisions, live a life dedicated to Him.  We want to care for the disadvantaged children as well, that they may have a chance at a better life while on the earth. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  God bless you as you pray!

Nairobi Terror Attack

Habakkuk 1:2 O Lord, how long shall I cry, and You not hear? Even cry out to You, "Violence!" and You will not save. v3 Why do You show me iniquity, and cause me to see trouble? For plundering and violence are before me; there is strife, and contention arises, v4 therefore the law is powerless, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; therefore perverse judgment proceeds.
Beloved, news of the terrorist attack in Nairobi this week brought back painful memories of 2013 when the Westgate Mall was attacked in Nairobi.  I praise God that He had 200 of us stationed as watchmen on the wall at an all night kesha not far from the mall.  We were there on Friday night, then came back for an all day church service on Sunday.  The attack began on Saturday and went on for four days.  It's possible the Lord used us to stand in the gap for Kenya and help minimize the suffering, some questions we won't know the answers until we get to heaven. The Bible says that in the last days, perilous times will come. Men will be unloving,unforgiving, slanderers, without self control, brutal, despisers of good.( 2 Timothy 3:3) We are here now!  Partner with Gather the Outcasts Ministry as we stand in the gap for Kenya and other nations in Africa.  The soul saving message of Jesus is for all people.  God bless you as you pray!

Living Water Fellowship

Matthew 10:12 And when you go into a house, greet it. v13 If the household is worthy,.let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. v14 and whoever will not receive you, nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake the dust off from your feet.
Beloved, one of the greatest challenges to the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ in Africa is the rise and expansion of Isam.  How do you win Muslims to the Lord Jesus? One person at a time!  We have begun a new fellowship at the Living Water Children's home in Kenya, in the village of Makunda.  The village is about 75% muslim in makeup.  In just two meetings we have now had eight new converts.  We are baptizing them in the river down at the bottom of the shamba.  Zephaniah and I are copastoring the fellowship, we are going to the homes and praying for the sick and those in need. Pray for this fellowship to continue to grow and flourish, that the whole village will be transformed by the power of the gospel. As for the Living Water Children's Home, we are pursuing the registration of an existing ministry in Kenya so we can get the home registered and operating.  I am trusting the Lord for $3,000 for registration expenses, plus another $3,000 for beds and kitchen supplies.  Please pray about your part in getting the home up and operating.  Thank you for your prayers and support.  May God bless you as you pray!

The Greatest Gift

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. v7 Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forevermore.
Beloved, many people search the stores looking for that perfect gift to give their loved ones during this Christmas season. We thank God for that.  Gather the Outcasts is in Ikabo village in remote Kisii county in Kenya.  We came to give these precious souls the gift that keeps on giving, the joy of knowing Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  The Lord has blessed us with good weather, and thousands are coming out to hear the good news of the gospel, to sing praise and worship Him, and to receive prayers for healing and salvation. The Trinity

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a Son, and you will call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.
Beloved, many here in Africa do not have a good understanding of the trinity.  If you read God's word, the trinity is all through it.  Let US make man in OUR image (Gen 1:26).  God's perfect plan of redemption for all mankind included His only begotten Son, who came to earth to save us from our sins.(John 3:16)  And His name shall be called Immanuel, God with us. Loaves and Fishes

Matt: 14:17 And they said to Him, "We have only five loaves and two fishes." v18 He said, "bring them here to Me." v19 Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and two fish, and looking to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes.  v20 So they all ate and were filled, and when they were finished they took up twelve baskets of fragments that remained. v21 Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
Beloved, Jesus didn't just minister the good news of the gospel, He also got involved in the daily lives of the people wherever He went.  In the scripture above, we see Him feeding many thousands, because He had compassion for their hunger!  I have recently been taking care of two families that the Lord has brought to me.  First, the family of Benjamin, the diabetic ex-muslim boy, who is one of nine children.  The mother is gone, the father no work.  The children are hungry and have many needs, including Benjamin's ongoing medical issues.  The second family, eight children who also need food and shelter.  The mother is in the hospital, unable to walk, the step father a drinker who provides little for the family.  If you can help Gather the Outcasts feed these families until they get back on their feet it would be greatly appreciated.  Partner with us as we reach out to the poor and needy of Kenya.  There are other opportunities for giving as we near the end of the year including the Kisii Crusade coming up December 13-16.  Furniture and registration needs for the Living Water Children's Home.  May God bless you as you pray!

A Man's Gift

Proverbs 18:16 A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men (kings).  Proverbs 19:17 He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given.  Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
Beloved, next week I will be in Burundi for the crusade in Bujumbura.  I have received an invitation letter from the Vice President of the country inviting me to Burundi. Other high officials of the government, including the President are planning to attend.  Pray that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit will shake the nation of Burundi!  Back home in Kenya, the ex muslim boy, now named Benjamin, came to New Hope church last Sunday and gave his confession of faith. He and his mother will be baptized next week when she comes back from Nairobi. His father told me last week they were just waiting for the boy to die from complications related to diabetes when I went to pray for him. God gave him a mighty healing!  Pray for this family as there are eight children and the father in the family yet to come to the Lord Jesus.  God is moving through the Living Water Orphanage to transform lives in the village of Makunda.
