Prayer Meeting in Kenya Grows

Dear beloved:  I continue to receive updates from the university students in Kenya who have started meeting to pray as a result of the Tassia/Nairobi Victory Church revival in September. The number of these students now meeting has grown to 65, and they are meeting every Wednesday to pray for 24 hours, with the goal of eventually taking it up to a 24/7 ongoing prayer vigil. This is very exciting for the city of Nairobi as well as the country of Kenya and all of East Africa.

Acts 2:42 And they were continually devoting themselves to the apostle's teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.  v43 And everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles. v44 and all those who had believed were together and had all things in common. v45 and they began selling their property and possessions, and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need. v46 And day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, v47 praising God, and having favor with all the people.  And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.

If one can put a thousand to flight and two put ten thousand to flight, just think what 65 students praying together can do.  This is a mighty move of God!  Let us pray and ask the Lord to continue to bless this move so that more will join, that they will have the provision and stamina to do mighty exploits for the Lord.  If anyone reading this blog would like more information, please email me at pureprairie@hotmail.com, I would be happy to share information.  The students have also asked for money to purchase or to be sent a laptop computer, if you would be interested in providing either of those let me know.  May God bless you as you pray today, in Christ, Jim
