Warfare Portals 5

Dear beloved: Today's teaching will be the final step in cleansing us of generational sin and curses, then tomorrow we will go back and begin to discuss sins that we freely choose ourself that are not related to family iniquities. The final step in sealing your victory over the demonic entry in your life is to pray the blood of Jesus over every portal of entry into your life; His blood seals the victory for today and forever. His blood is the cornerstone, the rock, the foundation, and because of His shed blood we walk in victory and need not fear the devil. Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us-for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree". This scripture quoted by the apostle Paul comes from Deuteronomy 21:22 which states, " And if a man commits a sin which is worthy of death, and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, v23 his corpse shall not hang all night on the tree, but you shall surely bury him on the same day (for he who is hanged is accursed of God), so that you do not defile the land which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance." Jesus took the curse for us, past, present, and future, and so with the blood he shed on the cross we are free of our own curses. Interestingly, in fulfillment of the prophetic nature of the Deuteronomy scripture, Jesus was removed from the cross before nightfall so as not to hang all night on the tree. Isaiah 53:5 is the prophetic scripture that explains Jesus sacrifice the best. He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed (bruised) for our iniquities, the chastening (punishment) for our well being fell on Him, and by His scourging (stripes at the whipping post) we are healed. All total at the crucifiction Jesus shed his blood seven ways for us: He sweat drops of blood in the garden, He was beaten in the face at the inquisition, the crown of thorns pierced His skull and forehead, He was scourged at the whipping post to near death, He was nailed through His hands, nailed through His feet, and His side was pierced through by the spear. Seven is the number in the Bible that speaks of completion and perfection; 7 days in a week, 7 spirits of God, 7 churches, 7 judgments and so forth. Jesus was the perfect and complete sacrifice, in Him nothing was left undone. John 19:30 When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "it is finished!" And he bowed His head, and He gave up His spirit. Paul sums it up in Hebrews 10:19, Since therefore, brethren, we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, v20 by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, v21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, v22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water....And so we are washed clean, we have a clean conscience, and we can stand before God unashamed and without fear of judgment. 2 Corinthians 5:17 tell us, Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old has passed away; behold new things have come. And again in 2 Corinthians 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the fighteousness of God in Him. You have been raised up with Christ, and in Colossians 3:1, Paul reminds us to keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Beloved, have a seat with the King of Kings today, enjoy the scenery from above, and praise Jesus for everything that He has done for you! The battle belongs to the Lord! May God bless you this day as you celebrate your victory, in Christ, Jim
