Stand in the Gap

\
Dear beloved: Pics, New believer Alfred up out of the watery grave; village girls getting their water from Living Water spring
Ezekiel 23:29 "The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy; and they wrongfully oppress the stranger.  V30 So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found no one. v31 Therefore I poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have recompensed their deeds on their own heads," says the Lord.
Beloved, this scripture spoken by the prophet Jeremiah could easily apply to Kenya, or the USA.  In Kenya, violence, robbery, corruption and oppression of the poor have left the majority of people needy and feeling hopeless. In the USA the poverty isn't so much material as it is a famine of God's word and spiritual emptiness. In both cases the solution is the same, the good news of the gospel.  Jesus came to preach good tidings to the poor, to heal up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives.  Gather the Outcasts has been preaching crusades and sharing the good news in Africa since 2010.  Join with us as we continue to stand in the gap for the poor and oppressed in Kenya.  We are planning a big city wide crusade in Mumias town December 5-8. We are planning to work with 100 local pastors, along with some great singers from Western Kenya, and local church choirs to lead the praise and worship.  Will you stand with us?  The budget for the crusade is $4,000.  May God bless you as you pray!
