A Sound Mind
Dear beloved: Pictures above, left, Burundi Crusade 2016; right, South Africa Evangelist Samuel Murrombe at Living Water Orphanage
Mark 5:7 And he cried out with a loud voice and said, " What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me." v8 For Jesus said to him, "Come out of the man, unclean spirit!" v9 Then He asked him, "What is your name?" and he answered, saying, "My name is Legion, for we are many." v15 Then the townspeople came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid. v17 And the townspeople began to plead with Him to depart from their region.
The above passage of scripture is probably the most dramatic story of deliverance in all the New Testament. After the deliverance of Legion, the people of the town wanted Jesus to leave. They would rather see the familiar Legion in the tombs, and all the pigs alive, than see the alternative of Legion delivered of his demonic torment. In this current age in America, 80 million people are taking medication for depression, anxiety, and unstable minds. Millions more are self medicating with marijuana and other illegal drugs. Beloved, God has a better plan. The Psalmist says in Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in the shadow of the Almighty. 91:2 " I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God in Him I will trust." May God bless you and strengthen your mind as you pray today.

Pray Without Ceasing
Dear beloved: Pictures above, left, all night Kesha at KIHBT University in Nairobi; right, Kesha at Multimedia University, Nairobi
Matthew 17:1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; v2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. v3 And behold Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. v4 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." v5 While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in Him I am well pleased, Hear Him!"
After spending four days in the prayer room at the International House of Prayer last week, I began to feel like Peter, and think, "Lord it is good for me to be here, let me build a tabernacle and stay here." We all have places and times when we are up on the mountaintop with the Lord, but the harvest is in the valleys, in the trenches, and on the side hills where the footing is treacherous. Then I heard from the Lord, and He said "Go, for the fields are ripe with the harvest. Pray the Lord of the harvest to send forth workers into the harvest." Pray about your part in the global harvest; if you can go to Africa with me, please contact me for a trip itinerary. If not, your part may be to send those who can go. May God bless you as you pray.

The Gospel Must Be Preached
Dear beloved: Pictures above, left, the harvest at Kibera; Kibera Crusade in Nairobi
1 Corinthians 9:7 Who ever goes to war at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Or who tends a flock and does not drink of the milk of the flock? v11 If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it a great thing if we reap your material things? v14 Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel. v16 For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me, yes, woe to me if I do not preach the gospel.
Beloved, I have gone to war for the sake of the gospel, for woe is me if I do not preach. Twice I have been very sick as I came out of Congo after preaching crusades there, taking on all the witches and principalities of the rebels who kill and destroy in that country. The second time so weak I could not stand up in the visa line at the Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi. No pictures of that! Was it the powers and principalities that weakened me, or just some bad bugs in the samosas I ate? I'll never know for sure, but Jesus said, "From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent will take the kingdom by force." It is war. Beloved, I am looking for partners to help me go forward into the battle. Please pray about your part in monthly support for this ministry, that we can continue to advance the kingdom in Africa and around the world. God bless you as you pray.

More From Prophet Joel
Dear beloved: Pictures above, Sunny? Southern California, near Los Angeles; right, Malibu Beach
Joel 2:30 "And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth; Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. v31 the sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord." Matthew 24:43 " But know this, if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into." Matthew 25:13 "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming."
Just returned to Kansas from a successful speaking trip to the Los Angeles area, only to be greeted by 70 mile per hour winds, grass fires all over the prairie, pillars of smoke. In Los Angeles, the crush of people stops the traffic; in Kansas, grass fires and dense smoke, along with gale force winds stop the traffic. The Lord is doing everything He can to wake the people from their slumber before His return, the great and awesome day of the Lord. Four blood moons in recent years, each of them falling on a Jewish festival day. Are you ready? No one knows the day or the hour of the Lord's return. Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. God bless you as you pray!

Speak to the Mountain
Dear beloved: Pictures above, Burundi Crusade; right, Mt. Nyirangongo, near Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo
Matt 17:19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, " Why could we not cast it out?" v20 And Jesus said to them, " Because of your unbelief, for assuredly I say to you, if you have faith of a mustard seed you will say to this mountain. Move from here to there, and it will move. And nothing will be impossible for you."
Beloved, we all have mountains in our life that seem to be impossible to move, mountains of bondage, bad habits, sin, depression, unbelief. Jesus says start speaking to the mountains in your life and then watch them move. Where your faith is too little, Jesus will add His faith to it and you will see the impossible start to happen. For what is impossible for us is nothing for God. Debt gone, depression lifted, hope restored! Gather the Outcasts is building a nice home for 40 children in Kenya. It seems like a big mountain to climb, but our God is able! Pray with me that God will provide the necessary provision to finish the job quickly. God bless you as you pray!
