Dear beloved: I just recently returned from a Men's Encounter meeting here in Kansas. Men's Encounter is a weekend of deliverance, interspersed with praise and worship added to the fellowship and joy of men serving each other in various roles throughout the weekend. God is raising up mighty men of valor through these encounters, and I would encourage anyone who is wishing to move forward in their walk with the Lord to attend. There are also Women's Encounters as the counterpart for the women, so they too may walk in the fullness of power and freedom that God has for them.
Before I went I did not have a strong desire to go, but I had witnessed how these weekend encounters had transformed the lives of many of the men in our church. So I asked the Lord for a sign if He wanted me to go, and He gave me an awesome dream to encourage me and guide me to the Encounter. In the dream, I was looking out the glass door of the foyer of a building (which I later found out was the foyer of the hall where the meetings were held), and saw a huge, demonic worm about 8 feet tall and 2 feet in diameter, with his ugly face pressed up against the glass. He was plotting to come in and get in the way, steal what the Lord had planned, and make a mockery of the proceedings. Isaiah 66:24 And they shall go forth and look upon the corpses of the men who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, and their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh. Mark 9:43 If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched v44 where Their worm does not die, And the fire is not quenched.
In the second part of the dream, I was looking at the same foyer, and from the right side of the scene a brother came out and he had the worm, covered with a tarp, all bound up with ropes and fetters, and was hauling him out of the place, out the door and down the road. Isaiah 61:1 "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; v2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, v3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified."
What the Lord showed me in the dream came to pass, I would say everyone in attendance gained some deliverance, some in great measure.
God is moving in this country, He is pulling out all the stops to stir up the body of Christ, to prepare us for the end days battle.
