The Good Shepherd

John 10:2 "But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. v3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. v4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice." v7 Then Jesus said to them again, " I am the door of the sheep. v9 I am the door, if anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find good pasture. v11 I am the good shepherd.  The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep."
Beloved, the good shepherd gives up His life for the sheep.  It is inspiring that the coming of the good shepherd was announced first to the lowly shepherds in the field, keeping watch over their flocks!  What a mirror reflection of Jesus the Christ child.  If you feel lowly or downtrodden today, know this: the Good Shepherd came to this earth to die for you!   Join with Gather the Outcasts to take the good news of the gospel to the nations of the earth.
