Africa Mission 2017

Pictures above:  left, digging footings at Living Water Orphanage near Mumias, Kenya; right, church picnic
Colossians 1:2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are in Colosse: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ v3 We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, v4 since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints; v5 because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, v6 which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth.
Beloved, We are going back to Africa again in July to encourage and strengthen our brethren in the body of Christ in Kenya.  We will be spending ten days at the Living Water Orphanage site near Mumias, Kenya, and also touring the Masai Mara Wildlife Refuge.  It gives these precious saints great encouragement to have visitors from America come to show them the love of Christ. There is still time to sign up! If you would like to take the trip of a lifetime while fulfilling the great commission, email me for complete trip details.
Thank you to all who have contributed to the hunger relief campaign.  We are continuing to purchase 8 bags of maize each week to help feed our partner church members.  If you would like to contribute, each bag is $55. Email me for more details, or Paypal the gift you would like to give. God bless you!

Tent of Glory

Dear beloved: Pictures above: left, driving in tent pegs to anchor the center pole; right, opening the prayer rally at center of USA
Exodus 40:34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. v35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. v36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys.
Beloved, by the grace of God I was able to be part of a powerful prayer meeting held on the first day of Passover at the center pole of the original 48 States of the USA near Lebanon, Kansas. The meeting was opened by Governor Sam Brownback along with members of First Nations indigenous people. This meeting was the fulfillment of prophecies spoken over America going back forty years.  As of now the tent of the glory of the Lord has once again descended upon America.  Kansas is holding up the center pole of the tent, at the geographic center of America.. You will now see the glory of the Lord manifest in ways not seen in the past forty years; restoration and revival will break out in every sector of our society.  The kingdom of God will advance and take back territory from the enemy as we have not seen for many years. Not only will revival break out in America, but America will also be revitalized as the greatest missionary sending nation on the earth. America will shine!  May God continue to bless America!
Thank you to all who have donated to the hunger relief campaign in Kenya.  We have now purchased nearly fifty of the ninety pound bags of maize!  We are keeping people alive in Kenya.  Would you consider purchasing one or more bags of maize? Each bag is now $55.  Please pray about your part.

Hunger Relief Continues

Dear beloved:  Pictures above: Maize distribution last week at New Hope Fellowship in Kenya
James 4:14 Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. v15 Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that." v16 But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. v17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
Beloved, we are so blessed in America to have stockpiles of food and grain bins full of grain all over the land.  It is not that way in Africa, most people live in a hand to mouth situation. When crops fail, people face starvation and die.  Your generous contributions are keeping people alive until the next crop comes in.  The price of a bag of corn now is $53, up from about $20 last summer.  I challenge everyone reading this post to purchase one bag of corn to feed several people for a week. Do you know what will happen tomorrow in your life?  America may be in famine someday, please walk a mile in the shoes of our precious brothers and sisters in Kenya.  May God bless you as you pray today.

Hunger Relief Testimony

Dear beloved:  Pictures above, food distribution at New Hope Fellowship in Mayoni,Kenya
Exodus 16:4  Then the Lord said to Moses, "Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota each day, that I may test them, whether they walk in my law or not.  v11 And the Lord spoke to Moses, v12 "I have heard the complaints of the the children of Israel. Speak to them saying, " At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God."
Beloved, your donations to the hunger relief campaign are making a difference.   Thank you to all who have donated to the hunger relief fund, so far we have purchased 25 of the 90 pound bags of corn for distribution. Here is the testimony from Pastor Lucas, who is in charge of the food distribution.
"Thank you brother, We appreciate so much and pray Gods blessings. People here still kindly request if its possible you continue supporting the hunger relief foods project. These two months May and June are the only worse. From July they will have began roasting corns. Surely you are saving many families from death especially women and children. Some women appreciate when kneeling down and tears rolling out of their eyes just for that little you have been helping."
May God bless you as you pray. In Christ, Jim Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654 501c3 Paypal @ www.gathertheoutcasts.com or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com Email: pureprairie@hotmail.com Facebook.com/ Jim Rowh
