Africa Mission 2016

Dear beloved:  Above pics were taken at the Masai Mara Wildlife Refuge in Kenya.  Left is the dining hall, in a tent no less! This is called camping, Masai Mara style. The food was very good! Right, typical scenery while touring the Mara, where hundreds of species of animals and birds make their home.   I have the itinerary all set to go, if you would be interested in a two week trip to Africa in July of this year, email me and I would be happy to send you the itinerary.  The main purpose of the mission will be to work at the site of the Living Water Orphanage near Mumias, Kenya. We will be spending a fun filled week there aiding in construction and site preparation, then finish up the trip with a three day tour of the Masai Mara.

Jesus told the disciples in Matthew 28:19, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,  baptiizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching all that I have commanded you.  And lo, I will be with you always, even until the end of the age."  Beloved, the best time to go is now!  Don't wait until the end of the age.  You can make a difference in the lives of the children in Kenya, and move the kingdom forward here on the earth.

The Jubilee Year

Dear beloved:  Pictures above taken at the Masai Mara Wildlife Refuge in Kenya.  Left is Simba, the Lion King. Then we have two cheetahs resting in the shade.  If you had just run eighty miles per hour, you would want to rest as well!
This year is the Hebrew year 5776, the Jubilee Year which began on Yom Kippur on September 22, 2015.  The Jubilee is the year of the turnaround. Leviticus 25:10 "And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land unto all the inhabitants thereof; it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family."  This is the year of your turnaround, to be set free!
For Gather the Outcasts Ministry, it is also the seventh year I will be going to Africa.  Seven is the number of completion and perfection.  I believe the Lord wants me to complete the orphanage project in Kenya this year!  Would you consider partnering with Gather the Outcasts Living Water Orphanage Project to get this project completed?  Or how about going on the team for a two week trip to put your hands to the work?  We will also take in a side trip to the Masai Mara and visit our friend Simba.

Blessings for a New Year

Dear beloved: This giraffe looked in over our Land Rover when I was touring the Masai Mara Wildlife Refuge in Kenya.  Might you also be interested in going to see him and his friends at the Masai Mara?  I will be leading a team back to Kenya this summer, planning for a two week trip for a short term mission team to work at the orphanage site, then finish up with a trip to the Masai Mara.  It would be the trip of a lifetime for you, and you would get some hands on work for the orphan children God cares so much about. I'm looking at a late June, early July time frame.

As we look at the new year before us, God has some work for each of us to do.  How will you spend your time and resources this year to expand the Kingdom of God?  Acts 13:2 And while they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them."  v3 Then when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. v4 So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia and from there they sailed to Cyprus.    Beloved, God has work to which He has called you, and He is speaking to some of you about it right now.
